How come my car keeps going dead?

Okay Sunday I bought a battery for my car because it would not start. it did fine until tuesday the battery was drained(new) took my alternator off and the auto shop said it was bad so I bought that. On thursday my car started acting up again. I need a boost every time I turn the car off. I also have new battery post. What is wrong?
to be more accurate this is my 2nd new battery this week.

You may need to trace down all wires and make sure they are connected or not broken also pay close attention to your ground wires. You can also make sure all accessories (lights, radio, or any thing else that might draw power) is off when the key is in the off position.
